PAN India Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has initiated BSNL Recharge Helpline which was launched for prepaid mobile customers with support from M/s On Mobile, and this service will provide the customer with the following two options
- Recharge from Home
- Recharge with the help of Friends & Family
With this above two options, any prepaid customer can register recharge request from their own BSNL mobile number available with out any approach to retailer or online portal or UPI applications.
For both (Self Recharge & Friends Recharge) the process, you must dial to the IVRS number and select the suitable mode of recharge followed with plan voucher or STV pack.
Recharge from Home for Self Recharge
BSNL Customers will select a plan voucher or STV, from the select proposed through IVR number as mentioned to register his/her request for a recharge, and the subscriber request will be recorded and shared with concerned Nodal Center / Circle to close with the help of CSC channel partners.
Recharge with the help of Friends & Family
Here customer will enter the mobile number of donor person from whom he/she wants to request the recharge, An SMS will be sent to the donor informing him/her about the request and to help the person by recharging with any mode.

Actually this Recharge helpline service of BSNL is very useful for those customers who are not aware with online recharge portal or with any digital application options and also for those who locked with any natural calamities, but any how anyone can use this option to recharge their own mobile number from self balance or from their friends and family members.
Who will recharge when raised a request through IVRS?
The registered request will be send to concerned area retailer / franchisee to recharge and to collect the money from the subscriber.
How much time it will take to recharge?
It is a regular process and concerned nodal officer will process the request regularly on priority within 24 hours.
Whether the balance deducted from Friend Mobile number if requested with Friends option on IVRS recharge portal?
No, an SMS request will be sent to the friends mobile number seeking help to recharge your mobile number with his/her mobile number to transfer the balance or through online recharge from any source.
Can we request the IVRS recharge portal from any mobile?
The request will be registered only for the dialed BSNL prepaid mobile number and no other options are entertained to request on behalf of others.
